What year did you begin playing Ultimate Frisbee? 

2012 (best year of my life) :p

 

How did you start playing?  

I just joined it in school because I heard about it in a ty module

 

What was the best frisbee tournament you ever attended and why?     

EYUC in 2013! It was my first tournament abroad and we had an unreal team! I had the great opportunity to play teams from different countries and make some great friends :)

 

What was the worst frisbee tournament you ever attended?

I have yet to attend a tournament I haven't enjoyed overall but I have played in games where I knew I could have given more and that is the worst feeling ever

 

If you were an animal that could play frisbee what animal would you like to be and why??         

I would be a kangaroo because they are fairly fast and can jump. It would also be fairly hilarious!

 

If a theme song was played every time you were announced onto the pitch, what theme song would you choose?       

Call me old school but I'd have to for the classic "jump" by Van Helsen. It a great pre-match tune

 

 

What was your best Ultimate Frisbee moment?         

I'd say scoring in the opening game against Italy at WJUC last year. Despite the score our team played class and it was by far my best frisbee moment

 

Which player did you look up to when you first began playing frisbee?       

I can't just say one because it was defiantly Leanne and Caitlin. I don't think I'd need to elaborate why :p

 

What player do you look up to at the moment

I look up to a few players. I would probably end up with a list if I named them all :p

        

Where do you see your frisbee self in 5 years time -   

I will definitely be playing with rebel if they keep me! I will hopefully have improved by than and have gained a lot more experience. I would like to be coaching schools and hopefully helping out with leagues for schools.

 

What was the best frisbee team you ever played on and why?    

That is a tough q but it has to rebel at mixed all Ireland last year. I felt way out of my depth but it was such a great experience to be part of such a skilled team.

 

Do you have any other hobbies?   

I've stopped everything but for are with the leaving cert but I used to play camogie and other sports. I also played a few trad instruments. But now I only frisbee-study-sleep in that order

 

Have you ever thought about quitting frisbee and why?    

No definitely not! I enjoy it way too much and I love the way the sport is new and constantly growing and I want to stay being part of it for as long as I can

 

Why do you continue to play frisbee?     

The main reasons are that everyone is sound. The sport is really fun and nothing else is like it really. Rebel is such a great club and I find myself on a constant learning curve which is brilliant.

 

 An interesting fact about you that people should know      

I am ambidextrous

 

Which character below would you most like to be when playing frisbee?      

Harry Potter! Who would be crazy enough to miss the chance to be Harry Potter! The opposition would not stand a chance!

 

If you had to pick one person on your frisbee team to be stuck in a submarine with for 9 days who would you choose and why?   

I'd say Elaine. She's a great laugh and so good at everything. It would also be really cool for her to write her blogs for a submarine. I could read them for entertainment :p

 

Do you have any nice saying - frisbee or just in general - you would like to share with us?         

I have this dodgy frisbee joke. How many frisbee players does it take to make a phone Call? 14. One to make the call and thirteen to discuss.

 

Do you ever wonder how different your life would be if frisbee didn't find you

Not really because I know that if frisbee had not found me I would have definitely found frisbee :p
