How long have you been playing Ultimate Frisbee?      

Since 2010

 

How did you start playing?        

Started in UCC. I got a pretty terrible injury playing Basketball and felt like a change. Fergus McAuliffe is also a great salesman.

 

Who was your first frisbee crush?          

Ray Williams!! He's an auld sweet talker and a Tipp man of course

 

What was the best frisbee tournament you ever attended and why?    

Windmill 2011, brilliant team and we had some craic that weekend. 8th in the Open Division.

 

What was the worst frisbee tournament you ever attended and why? 

World 23s Toronto. Really disappointing result but it was crazy expensive and didn't offer much as a tournament

 

If you were an animal that could play frisbee what animal would you like to be and why??

Cameleon, I'd hide in the endzone!        

 

If a theme song was played every time you were announced onto the pitch, what theme song would you choose?

What was your best Ultimate Frisbee moment?              

Winning UK Nationals or becoming Rebel Club Captain

 

Which player did you look up to when you first began playing frisbee?               

Ahhhh.... Nicolas Petters was the first experienced player I threw with, some man. Training with Brian T in Rebel was a big opportunity for me at the start to improve. Dee Corbett as well what a woman.               

 

What player do you look up to at the moment?

Its hard to look past Brian and Donal. When it really comes down to crunch time in big Rebel games they are always performing well.

 

Do you have any pre-game or pre-tournament rituals and do they ever work? 

I keep forgetting my rituals        

 

Where do you see your frisbee self in 5 years time -     

Getting physical therapy 

 

What was the best frisbee team you ever played on and why?

UK Nats 2013.. Such a well balanced side. Everyone knew and carried out their role

 

What is your favourite frisbee number and why?

Not really into numbers too much.         

 

What was the best frisbee party you were ever at and why?     

Beginner Blitz party first year - Mairead Rice smashing I'd say 9million beer bottles onto the floor and watching Oisin walk downstairs from bed looking so sad.

 

What was the worst frisbee party you were at and why?

First year, needing Mary McKee to walk me home while in tears and bleeding and not knowing exactly why.     

 

Have you ever thought about quitting frisbee and why?             

Millions of times... It can get a bit too much sometimes however I'm happy I didn't

 

Why do you continue to play frisbee?  

Savage opportunities in the sport, going aboard etc... meeting people... even getting the chance to captain Rebel is such a massive opportunity.

John Doc - It would give the world nine days of a break.
