How long have you been playing Ultimate Frisbee?

Late November 2011 i was a late bloomer...............very late!!!      

 

How did you start playing?        

Summer before college started Alan Reidy and i would go down to the park, he would huck the disc and i would give chase like a dog, I always brought the disc back and handed it to him cause every time i threw it, it would go the wrong way :'(

Who was your first frisbee crush?          

 

What was the best frisbee tournament you ever attended and why?    

Either Open IV's 2014in Belfast with UCC2, Iron maned the first day with two incredible woman on our team and played all of sunday with only 6 players, still won every game and came away with the plate ;) OR Windmill Windup 2013, first time playing abroad, great city, Sean O'Mahony best captain ever and managed to come away with second place against all odds
ps: Finished 2 seeds ahead of the Irish mixed team :P 

 

Who was your first frisbee crush?

Jsun what a man, need i say more?, If you don't know Jsun you need to know him!!

 

What was the worst frisbee tournament you ever attended and why? 

Unileague 2012 in WIT, pissed out of the heavens all the way through, really could have done with some friction gloves back then :'(

 

If you were an animal that could play frisbee what animal would you like to be and why?

An Antelope, because and antelope can jump higher than a two story building, this is down to the fact an antelope has massive hind legs and the fact a building can't jump :D

What was your best Ultimate Frisbee moment?

Devs, managing to foul the opposition player while simultaneously getting kicked in the balls and breaking a toe. When it is not your day, it really isn't your day!!!

 

Which player did you look up to when you first began playing frisbee?

At the start John Doc, what a crazy f&*ker, never really fully understood him and he still surprises me.
Donal Murray for just his reading of the game and respect he had for his opponents 

 

What player do you look up to at the moment ?

Matthew Feely which is kinda hard considering I would have to look down :P, His reading and understanding of the game is unbelievable best coach in Ireland.

 

Where do you see your frisbee self in 5 years time? 

Playing on the rebel 1st team but also have a job hopefully, I'm not that committed to growing up:(     

 

What was the best frisbee team you ever played on and why?

UCC2 for Open IV's 2014 see above i'm not writing that again

 

Do you have any other hobbies?

Jesus just realised i have no life outside of this............Don't leave me FRISBEEEEE!!!!          

 

What was the best frisbee party you were ever at and why?

Any party from my first year down at the lads house in the lough, They knew how to have fun and make you feel like you belong.     

          

Have you ever thought about quitting frisbee and why?  

A few times yes, but everytime i try and get out they keep dragging me back in.           

 

Why do you continue to play frisbee?  

Plain and simple...........exercise!!!!

If you had to pick one person on your frisbee team to be stuck in a submarine with for 9 days who would you choose and why?    

Brian T, I'd love to know if i could push him to actually kill me, it would be interesting to say the least

Do you ever wonder how different your life would be if frisbee didn't find you? 

Well college, that would have been a big NO from me, i 93.56% would have dropped out if it weren't for frisbee,amazing how things work out for the best.
